people might have wondered, why I´m not submitting anything lately - the truth is, that at the moment I´m serving the muse of writing....anyway, i´ve been listening to YES on youtube, and there are vids to be seen with the work of ROGER DEAN - I think, hes a super great artist, took aheasd lots of the Manga style, too.
If you don´t know him, have a look, it´s definitely worthwhile.
That was an advantage in the 60ies and 70ies, there was always a great piece of art coming as coverwork with the vinyl LPs, and ROGER DEAN created some of the most outstanding cover artwork there´s ever been!

Just the other day I asked some youngsters if they knew Robert Crumb or Gilbert Shelton - well, they didnt, and that´s why I wanna remind people of these great artists. In case you really don´t know them, have a look in the web, there are plenty of pictures to be found, and besides, there´s a Freak Brothers movie ahead...if they ever get it done.
This stuff needs a revival, so I´m promoting them here!
Might also inspire all the Manga fans out there....haha!!

Frodo ´s doing pretty well, only his right eye might need some more time.

Hello, all my dear friends out there.
You haven´t heard much from me lately.
but something sad happened: our dear little cat Frodo got hit by a car and was badly hurt in the face, broken jaws, and his right eye might remain handicapped, but at least not completely blind. This happened 10 days ago, I found him bleeding in front of my door at midnight - I live in the third floor! Luckily, I have a good veterinarian and I´m a pretty good cat-nurse, too, and of course Frodo is very willing to get well again - he´s only about 18 months old, and such a character! The worst thing for him is now, that he can´t go outside. On the other hand, he´s "talking" and communicating a lot more.
But hestill has some hard times ahead, next friday he might get something like braces on his lower jaw, to adjust it, because it´s a little crooked which might bother him later in his life. i´m sure, he won´t like that too much, and it´s supposed to stay on him for five weeks....

Anyway, things are getting normal again, now that it´s clear that Frodo will overcome his accident in a rather good shape. So I hope to be able to submit some new stuff soon.

Thanks also for submitting all your great works, which I enjoyed very much.

It´s raining all the time here in Germany, in the middle of july. Whenever the clouds vanish, it becomes insupportably hot. I feel totally depressed these days. So if anyone can say something to make me smile again, please do!
